Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I Park?

There can be space out front for a car, but this is not always guaranteed. There is free roadside parking (1 hour max), the Co-Op in town (max 4 hours), Knebworth Train Station or the small car park (free) by the playing fields down Watton Road. Kerr Close also has free roadside spaces (up the hill, past the metered spots). Knebworth train station is a 2 minute walk from the studio.

Do you accept Cash or Card?

Both, although some of our Artists may have a preference. It is best to check with your Artist first. The studio has a card reader if you prefer that payment method.

I have a design in mind, what do I do?

Contact your chosen Artist and send them images or descriptions, and they will help you. For more complex designs, you may want to consider booking a consultation.

*Please note that our Artists will never copy another artist's work, or use their images without permission*

Do I need to book a consultation before I can book in a tattoo?

Not necessarily, if your design is simple we can arrange your booking without needing a consultation, just message your Artist directly.

 

The design I wanted has already been reserved, what can I do?

Please message your Artist, they will be more than happy to design another similar piece for you.

 

How much will my tattoo cost?

Each of our Artists set their own prices, these can be viewed in their portfolios or message them directly for a quote.

​A deposit will always be required & your Artist can only confirm your booking once payment is received.

Deposits act as a booking fee and are non-refundable.

 

I need to cancel my appointment, what should I do?

Appointments may be rescheduled once at no extra cost - Please message your Artist at least 48 hours before your appointment. Missed appointments will cost you your deposit/booking fee. Cancelling without rescheduling will lose you your deposit.

 

I missed my appointment, what should I do?

Please contact your Artist and rebook your session, you will have to pay your deposit again upon rebooking. Deposits are non-refundable & help us cover the costs of setting up for your appointments, so any deposits made previously will not count towards new bookings.

 

I have existing tattoos that I would like covered up and/or repaired, can you help?

Absolutely, in these cases your Artist will need to see the existing tattoo, either via pictures or in a consultation so that we may examine your tattoos & discuss what your options are.

I want to use numbing cream for my tattoo - what should I do?

If at all possible, don't. Numbing cream causes the skin to become more damaged & tattoos done with it heal badly. Fine line tattoos CANNOT be done with numbing cream. Thicker, bolder designs heal the best but we will always strongly recommend against using the creams.

If you need to use the cream that is fine, just be aware of the risks, that some designs will not work & that the tattooing process will take longer as a whole.  Make sure you discuss this with your Artist prior to the appointment  - we would hate for you to loose your booking on the day if you turn up with cream on for an unsuitable tattoo.

Buy a reputable brand and follow the instructions. We will not apply or provide any of these creams for you.
